Design Process
ELEVA was thoughtfully crafted with two key principles in mind - safety and user comfort. We left no stone unturned during the design process, utilizing state-of-the-art CAD software, particularly SolidWorks, to bring our vision to life. With the primary material being wood, we kept the design simple yet efficient, incorporating a few 3D printed parts along with readily available off-the-shelf components.
Our focus was on creating a product that could cater to a wide range of users and their diverse needs, particularly in terms of accommodating different wheelchair designs with varying dimensions. Our design team worked tirelessly to ensure that ELEVA was as versatile as possible, capable of accommodating an extensive range of user requirements.
In addition to versatility, we also prioritized portability as a key feature. To achieve this, we came up with the innovative idea of a detachable crank post. This feature facilitates easy storage and transportation while simultaneously simplifying the user experience.
At the heart of the ELEVA design lies an unwavering commitment to user safety and comfort. Our goal was to create a product that would enable wheelchair users to enjoy a higher level of independence and mobility while also being a reliable and trustworthy product they could depend on. By taking these factors into account, we believe we have achieved a product that will make a meaningful difference in the lives of many people.
